A great day!

Today was wonderful, a day where looking back the to do list got ignored, I sat on the floor and played with the kids, took them to Sticky Beaks and out to a restaurant for dinner, complete with milkshakes and pizza.

Some days when I take the time to relax and enjoy the little people I am helping to form, I realize how important it is to watch them.  Marcus is changing before my eyes, he is speaking very well and his vocabulary is growing everyday.  He is loving and kind to me, to his siblings and to the new baby.

He spent 10 minutes today blowing raspberries on my belly because the baby was liking it. Hehe, I was laughing out loud and he was cackling.  James spent tons of time walking today in sand, wood chips and concrete.  He is getting super confident, although at the park he is far more cautious then Marcus when it comes to trying new things.  The wooden chain bridge was tackled crawling and slowly, where at this point Marcus was running like a small drunken elf accross with no concern for his own well being.

Cassie started bringing home readers this week, 3 books so far.  It is amazing to watch this skill develop.  Reading is so central to my life and Mike's as well, I love watching her learn to love reading and books.  All three kids love story time at home and Marcus in particular loves sitting with me and reading as many stories as I am willing to read.

I am glad I took them out for dinner, and I was pleased with the behavior, they are all learning how to behave, and each one is doing well.  It was not silent, and there was one small boy ripping the paper off the table...James but all in all things were good.
